Description
NSN: 1680-01-163-4589, PR IQC09051009016, SPM4A7-09-R-0774. The item is a Detector, Flame. The item description cites McDonnell Douglas Helicopter Co, CAGE: 8V613, drawing 7-1172100334 Rev “E” dated 12 Dec 91, P/N 7-117210034. The approved source is Kidde Technologies, Inc, CAGE: 61423, P/N 30-207-6A. Configuration Control applies. This is a Critical Application Item (CAI). This is not a Critical Safety Item (CSI). The solicitation will result in an Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC) with (1) Base Year Plus 4) Option Years. FOB is at Destination, with Inspection and Acceptance at Destination. The delivery is 93 days ARO. The DLA Direct shipment locations are within CONUS, Susquehanna, PA and San Joaquin, CA. Pricing will be based on the Estimated Annual Quantity, which is 264 each. The Guaranteed Minimum Quantity of 66 each is for the Base Year Only. The Maximum Annual Contract Quantity is 528 each. This is solicited as Unrestricted, using Other Than Full and Open Competition. This is not a commercial item. Progress payments are not included. Surge and Sustainment is required. The solicitation will issue on March 13, 2009. The closing date is April 13, 2009. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
