- Sole Source Intent. Mission and Installation Contracting Command Center, Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG), Arizona, intends to award a firmfixed price contract on a sole source basis to Western Video, 31678 Railroad Canyon Road, Canyon Lake, CA 92587. The D60 Servo Lense and Camera systems being requested must correspond in fit, form and functions with existing systems currently being used by Yuma Proving Ground. Western Video utilizes proprietery engineering and systems to assemble the various parts into the YPG required systems. This action is solicited as small business set-aside. Award of this requirement will be in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 333315 with a standard size of 500 employees. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirements. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. If you feel that your firm possesses the ability to provide these requirements, then you must respond by demonstrating your firms technical capability to meet these requirements by 12 March 2009, 6:00AM MST to email lauren.e.orrok@us.army.mil. This requirement contains: Three each D60 Fujinon Zoom Lens control systems. Brand name only Fujinon D60X12.5R3DE ZP1 Zoom Lens (25-1500mm, F3.0-T3000 with built in 2X Extender, Day-Night Vision, Servo & RS232C Control with built in 2X Extender. Salient Characteristics The unit will be able to switch from hardware control (Coax Control) to TS232 control, contains all power supplieS and cables, contains all software and control codes needed to run system. The Control Transmitter (Provides Zoom, Focus, 2X Ext, in/out & switching for RS232 Control in conjunction with RC60/SERVO Receiver), lens to receiver cable at 10 ft long. Each of the three lens systems will contain Model D60X12.5R3DE-ZP1, RC60/SERVO Receiver, CS61 (Control Transmitter), CAE/D60 (Cable), FPWR (Power supplies) with cable, FSW (Control Codes) and A/D-MUX (Switcher). All items require a 1 year warranty. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirements or submit proposals.
