- Description
- The Government intends to award a sole source contract, for the procurement of a Standard Centurion Sea Scan System, which includes cables and a 1200 kHz towfish; and one P/N WS200M01, ER200 Winch to be shipped FOB Origin to Norfolk, VA. A complete RFQ package will be available on or about 5 March 2009 by downloading the documents at the NECO Website as follows: https://www.neco.navy.mil or at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. The size standard is 750 Employees and the applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334511. This procurement will utilize procedures under FAR 13. This office will no longer issue a hard copy of the Request For Quote (RFQ); therefore, a copy can be obtained from website http://www.neco.navy.mil. By submitting an offer, the vendor is self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the offer. By submission of an offer, the contractor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the CCR database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this RFQ, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make a contractor ineligible for award. Contractors may obtain information on registration and ! annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-888-227-2423, or via the Internet at https://www.bpn.gov.
