Description
NAICS Code: 721110 The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency?s (EPA) Environmental Financial Advisory Board (EFAB), in Washington, DC, intends to award a firm, fixed-price Purchase Order, under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The purpose of this purchase order is to obtain lodging and meeting facilities for the August 10-11, 2009 EFAB meeting. The EFAB is an EPA federal advisory committee is chartered under the Federal Advisory Committee Act to provide advice and recommendations to EPA on creative approaches to funding environmental programs, projects, and activities. This is a two day meeting where the Board members meet to discuss progress with work products under their strategic action agenda and develop an agenda to direct the Board?s ongoing and new activities through FY 2010. It is anticipated that approximately 30 members, 10 expert witnesses and seven staff persons will attend this meeting. EPA has selected San Francisco, CA as the location for the dates of August 10-11, 2009. No alternate dates or locations will be considered since these dates are when the Board Chair and Designated Federal Official are available. Any firm believing itself to be capable of meeting EPA?s requirement, as stated within the Statement of Work, may submit a quote, which, if received by 12:00 PM, Eastern Time, on March 9, 2009 shall be considered. Prospective sources are reminded that an award can only be made to a Contractor who is registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database.
