- Public Notice Posted on: March 2,2009 PART: U.S. Government Procurement Subpart: Acquisition of Services OFFADD: U.S. Department Of Commerce, NOAA, AOML 4301 Rickenbacker Causeway, Miami Florida 33149 Ref No: NRMAD000-9 ($10,000.00 - $24,999.00 usd) Subject: Establish a purchase order for archived online science journals for NOAA wide access. POC: Linda Pikula, 305-361-4429 This is a public announcement for a proposed contract action. In accordance with FAR Part 5.101 as required by the Small Business Act (15 U.S.C. 637(e) and the Office of Federal Procurement Policy Act (41 U.S.C. 416). The Atlantic Oceanographic and Meteorological Laboratory has a requirement for archived online science journals for NOAA wide access. The government only knows of one source for this specific online aggregation access of full-texts of high impact bioscience research journals, BioOne Science Journals Online 2009. To be considered interested parties must be able to demonstrate their ability to provide this service. To be considered, firms must furnish detailed information concerning their capability to provide such service and satisfy the government's needs such as, at a minimum, name, telephone number, and address of concerns for whom you have furnished this specific service, and a detailed narrative that described your facility and ability to provide such service as a basis for the evaluation criteria. Interested parties must respond within (10) ten calendar days, after publication of this notice via e-mail to Armando.Cuervo@noaa.gov. If no affirmative responses are received, the government intends to issue a purchase order to BioOne Science Journals Online. Further informational inquiries can be requested to 305-361-4429, Attn: Linda Pikula, The Atlantic Oceanographic and Meteorological Laboratory requires that all contractors doing business with NOAA must be registered with the Central Contractor Registry (CCR). After this date, NO award can be made unless the vendor is registered in CCR. For additional information and to register in CCR please access the following website:http://www.ccr.gov/. In order to register with the CCR and to be eligible to receive an award from this acquisition office, all offerors must have a Duns and Bradstreet number. A Duns and Bradstreet number may be acquired free of charge by contacting Duns and Bradstreet on-line at https://www.dnb.com/product/eupdate /requestOptions.html or by phone at (800) 333-0505. Award will not be made to any contractor that does not have a Duns and Bradstreet number and is not registered in CCR.
