Description

RFP_ES9132_RAM The Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (Authority) solicits proposals for the Geismar 360 high Rail Cranes in accordance with RFP ES9132/RAM. This is a technically acceptable, low price RFP. This solicitation is issued under the Economic Stimulus Program. Proposals are due no later than 2:00 P.M., on Friday, April 10, 2009 to the Office of Procurement, Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority, PRMT File Room 3C-02, 600 Fifth Street, NW, Washington, D.C. 20001; Attn: Mr. Ronald A. Michaelis, Office of Procurement and Material. Please address written questions to the attention of the Contract Administrator, Mr. Ronald A. Michaelis, Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority, Room 3C-08, 600 Fifth Street, NW, Washington, D.C. 20001 or via electronic mail at rmichaelis@wmata.com. To qualify for an award, all vendors must be registered in the WMATA Vendors Registration System (VRS). The solicitation contains a DBE percentage goal. Proposed DBEs must be certified by WMATA at the proposal due date. The solicitation is posted in anticipation of WMATA receiving needed funds from the Federal Government after the approval of Economic Recovery Stimulus Package currently under development by the U.S. Congress and the Administration. The contract will be awarded only after the receipt of needed funds by WMATA from the Federal Government.
