Description
PR IQC08326009020, 5962-00-497-3962. Approved source(s): General Dynamics (04655) P/N 32-483049-1; OAI Electronics (22887) P/N 10C020-1. The requirement is for up to 100 each in 120 days and each additional 100 each or less every 30 days thereafter. The quantity to be ordered and the ship sites (continental United States) will be specified at the time of award on delivery orders issued. All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote which shall be considered. (Note 26) Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government’s requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. This solicitation is an RFP and will be available on the Internet at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil on its issue date of 18 March 2009. Hard copies of this solicitation are NOT available. This is an unrestricted procurement. Specifications, plans or drawings are not available. Various increments solicited: from 50 ea to 99 ea; from 100 ea to 249 ea; from 250 ea to 499 ea; from 500 ea to 749 ea. Prices are requested for various ranges for the base year and up to four option years. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the Government. The total duration (base plus option years) shall not exceed 5 years. Offerors must quote pricing for each increment for each year. Failure to do so may result in rejection of the offer. The quantity to be ordered and the ship sites will be specified at the time of award on delivery orders issued. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
