Description
AAI Corporation has previously delivered prototype CREW Universal Test Sets (UTS) to the Naval Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technology Division under a development contract. This current contractual effort is for follow-on support to facilitate prototype field demonstrations of the UTS in both CONUS and OCONUS environments. These demonstratoins will be conducted during the period of 1 April through 31 August 2009. To support these operations, the Contractor shall provide engineering and logistics support services to support system demonstrations and unit upgrades as follows: 1. Engineering Support for demonstrations and for the resolution of technical issues that may arise during the demonstrations. It is anticipated that there will be four (4) CONUS demonstrations and one (1) OCONUS demonstrations. The contractor may be required to travel to the CONUS demos. For planning purposes there may be one (1) west coast demonstration and three (3) east coast demonstrations for a period of two to three days for each demonstration. For the OCONUS demos the contractor must be readily available via phone or e-mail to assist with technical issues. 2. Logistics support for demonstrations. While performing demonstrations it is anticipated that there may be occasions where one or more units may require maintenance, repair, or update. The contractor shall provide services to facilitate the shipping associated with any actions that may need to be taken with the units and to provided necessary parts and accesories as requested by the government. 3. Update UTS Software and Firmware to address changes requied as a result of continued tests and demonstrations. These updates are to be made to all UTS prototypes which were developed on contract N00174-07-C-0055. Changes that are to be incorporated include resolving Spectrum Analyzer functionality issues, adding capability to upload test configurations to non-volatile memory and download test data via I/O connection between HHT and Laptop; address identified intermittent system measurement and operation issues; address test report GPS and EME reporting incosistencies; provide stimulus look through capability in the event of no GPS connection, provide ability to assign timing protocol tests to specific test events vs. All events; and provide measurement alignment updates.
