Description

Finding: There are two areas where the existing site slopes toward the building. The first is between buildings B and E where the grade slopes toward Building E. The second is on the south side of Male Dormoitory Building D where the grade slopes toward Building D. Scope of Work: Re-grade the area around the west face of Building E (approximatelt 2500 SF) to drain away from the building with a minimum slope of 1/2" to 12" to the west and the south and swale towards the nearest catch basin. Re-grade the area around the south face of Building D immediately outside the main lounge, (approximately 5,000 SF) to drain away from the building with a minimum slope of 1/2" in 12" to the south and then to the west andswale towards the nearest catch basin. Prior to grading operations, remove and store existing sod. Upon completion of re-grading operations, replace the sod in affected area(approximate total7,500 SF). * Fereral funds will be used to pay all bills incurred by Miami Job Corps Center and as a result, all applicale federal regulations will be in effect. The center pays work as completed plus materials.
