Description

The US Army Corps of Engineers, Savannah District, has a requirement for the supply of liquid oxygen for the Richard B. Russell Dam and Lake to meet the 2009 calendar year requirements. Prospective contractors must be capable of supplying approximately 4,500 tons of liquid oxygen. The period of the delivery for calendar year 2009 is estimated to begin 1 June through 30 November 2009. The Contractor will provide up to sixty (60) tons of liquid oxygen per day when requested. During the peak demand, "periodic daily around the clock" deliveries, seven (7) days per week will be required. The storage facilities consist of two (2) twenty thousand (20,000) gallon storage tanks. This is an Unrestricted procurement. All responsible businesses may submit a quote which if received timely, shall be considered. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 325120. The small business size standard is 1,000 employees. This solicitation will be issued in electronic format only and will be available on or provided as necessary for any posted changes to this solicitation and all amendments.
