- Area Description: Project area is Facility Number 2687, the South Substation near the Combat Vehicle Trail on Fort Lewis. Principal Items to be Accomplished, IJO DER 284-7J, REBUILD BUSS WORK 15K FROM TRANSFORMER TO SUBSTATION BUILDING: Provide and install Vertical Interrupter Circuit Switcher with Integral Air Disconnect Switch at South Substation. Provide necessary tools, equipment, material, engineering, and labor to ensure complete functionality of circuit switcher. Modify substation buss work and connections as necessary to accommodate new device. Install circuit switcher in the space between the power transformer and the High Voltage Potential Transformers owned by TPU. The outdoor circuit switcher shall be designed, manufactured, assembled, and tested in accordance with the latest applicable ANSI, NEMA, and ASTM standards and guidelines.
