- RECOVERY- Repair Control Tower Roof THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO THE 8(A) CONTRACTOR UNDER THE SIMPLIFIED ACQUISITION FOR BASE ENGINEERING REQUIREMENTS CONTRACT (SABER) AT LAUGHLIN AFB. The work is to take place at Laughlin Air Force Base, Texas. The general work includes the removal of the existing roof system down to the roof decking, the installation of a BUR roof system, rigid insulation, vapor barrier, flashing, crickets, and retrofitting existing roof penetrations such as drains. The magnitude of this project is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. The Request for Proposal will be issued on or about 27 Feb 09 and will close on or about 10 Mar 09.
