Description
The Department of Transportation (DOT), Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Radar Product Division (AML-2000) has a requirement being set aside exclusively for Small Business to procure and deliver a JLG 1250AJP Articulating Boom Lift (or equal in terms of form, fit, and function) in accordance with the attached Request for Offer (RFO) and Statement of Work (SOW). The DOT/FAA anticipates the award of a one time Firm Fixed Price type purchase order. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 532412, Construction, Mining, and Forestry Equipment, and the Small Business size standard is $7 Million. All offers are due by 3:30 p.m., Central Time, March 18, 2009. The FAA prefers electronic submission of offers to the Contracting Officer at mary.skaggs@faa.gov. Offers can also be submitted by fax at 405-954-9219. If one of these options is not feasible, offers must be submitted to DOT/FAA/MMAC, Bid and Proposal Office, AMQ-100, Multi-Purpose Building, Room 313, 6500 South MacArthur Boulevard, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73169. If mailing a hard copy, please reference RFO DTFAAC-09-Q-00004 and the Contracting Officer's name, Mary Skaggs, on the outside of your mailing package. Offers received after this date will be determined to be late and will not be considered for award and will be filed with the official award file. All interested sources must download the Screening Information Request (SIR) from the Internet. All responsible small business sources may submit an offer that will be considered by the agency. This Notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by a socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $750,000.
