Description

Washington Headquarters Services Acquisition and Procurement Office intends to solicit on a sole source basis under the statutory authority permitting Other than Full and Open Competition 10 USC 2304 (c), implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements to Identicard Systems Worlwide, 40 citation Lane, Lititz, PA 17543-7604 for 16,350 HID ISO Proximity cards (Badges) for access and control at the Raven Rock Mountain Complex. The existing/in-use proximity cards have internal codes that are proprietary to Raven Rock Mountain Complex. Due to security reasons it is not acceptable to provide the internal codes to other vendors, as duplication could allow unauthorized access into the Raven rock Mountain Complex. Identicard Systems is the sole producer of this custom card stock with internal code proprietary to Raven Rock Mountain Complex. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS.
