- MOD 4, AIR ROUTE TRAFFIC CONTROL CENTER (ARTCC), HAMPTON, GA. Project in general includes asbestos abatement in Vacant 1st Floor Control room, attic, and roof area, and replacement of asbestos-containing roof. Existing AHU's and appurtenances, existing circuits, lighting fixtures, PCB ballasts and power panels will be removed as well as all feeder conduits and wiring. New building service power panels and new light fixtures will be installed. In accordance with FAA AMS Policy 3.6.1.3.4, Set-Asides to Small Businesses Owned and Controlled by Socially and Economically Disadvantaged Individuals (8(a) Certified, this procurement is a limited competitive set-aside for negotiation with two previously screened 8(a) certified businesses listed below -- Cherokee Enterprises of Jacksonville, Florida, and CCI of Anchorage, Alaska. Competition is solicited from these two firms due to the fact that the procurement must be expedited to order to minimize further project delays caused a result of termination of the previous contract for this work. Performance Time: 210 calendar days. Price Range: $1,000,000.00 - $1,500,000.00.
