- Commercial Soliciation The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision and other support needed to MAINTAIN AND REPAIR ENTRANCE SECURITY BARRIER SYSTEMS at McGuire Air Force Base, New Jersey and Naval Air Engineering Station Lakehurst, New Jersey in accordance with the specifications outlined in the solicitation. Barrier systems include in this requirement are Phalanx Style Barriers (PSB) and Catsclaw Tire Shredder (CCTS) and Drop Arm Barrier (DAB) systems. This is a commercial aquicition. This solicitation is a request for quotation and is issued as a 100% small business set-aside under the Standard Industrial Classification Code 7699, NAICS code 811310, and the related Small Business Standard - $6.5M. The contractor shall comply with all local, state and federal laws and regulations. The proposed performance period is a Base Period from 1 April 2009 to 30 September 2009 and four one-year options. A site visit has been scheduled for 10 March 2009. If you are planning to attend the site visit, prior coordination with the 305th Contracting Squadron is mandatory not later than 6 March 2009. All potential sources must obtain a DUNS number and register in the Central Contractor Register (CCR) in order to transact busienss with the Department of Defense (DoD). Failure to obtain a DUNS number and register in the CCR may result in the delay of award of contract or possible award to the next otherwise successful offeror who is registered in the CCR at the time of award. Solicitaiton will be issued on or about 3 March 2009. The Offer Due Date will be stated in the solicitation. The entire solicitation will be made available only on the FedBizOpps (EPS) website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. The solicitation can be accessed by the following the links on the EPS website to: USAF Offices, Air Mobility Command, 305 CONS. Paper copies will not be available. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendements to this solicitation.
