- This is a Market Survey to locate sources capable of reconditioning the 150 KW, 400 Hz diesel engine driven generator set, NSN 6115-12-337-8494, to an as New Condition (zero hours-zero miles). The generator set is part of the Electric Power Plant III (EPP-III), which provides power to the Radar Station and Engagement Control Station of the PATRIOT Missile Defense System. These items were designed and manufactured by Lechmotoren GMBH, Altentadt, Germany, CAGE: D0857. Suppliers capable of providing the required services must so indicate by writing to Commander, USA CECOM, ATTN: AMSEL-LC-CCS-E-EC (Mahoney), Bldg 1200W, Fort Monmouth, NJ 07703-5043 or via e-mail to scott.mahoney2@us.army.mil. The response must include documentation that demonstrates that the interested source can, in fact: Supply the Army with the services required; Obtain the parts needed for the required effort; Complete the effort (2 Generator Sets) within a 2 month period; and perform the work in accordance to NMWRs 9-6115-669 volumes 2, 3, and 4.
