Description
The US Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity proposes to award to Ambulatory Monitoring Inc, 731 Saw Mill River Rd, Ardsley, NY 10502 on a sole source basis, for purchase of 146 Motionlogger Actigraph Watches to facilitate compliance in sleep studies requiring the device to be worn continuously for weeks or months which include specification submitted for Joint Urgent Operational Needs assessment. The proposed purchase enables research studies in the field of sleep the latest Motionlogger which has an on-wrist reaction time performance measure (referred to as a low resolution PVT Psychomotor Vigilance test). Solicitation No. W81XWH-09-T-0132 will be issued on or about 20 March 2009 and proposals will be due on or about 27 March 2009 @ 1:30 PM EST. This procurement shall be under other than full and open competition procedures in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. Only one responsible source (brand) and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 339112 with a size standard of 500 employees. No hard copies of the solicitation will be issued by this contracting office. All interested parties can view, download and print a copy of the solicitation and any resulting amendments on or about 20 March 2009 at the following website: www.usamraa.army.mil, click on Solicitations, then click View Additional Solicitation on the ASFI website. In accordance with DFARS 252.204-7004, all contractors wishing to do business with the Department of Defense must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. CCR registration can be accomplished at the following website: www.ccr.gov. Proposals will be evaluated on a Commercial Firm Fixed Price and any resulting contract will be issued as a Firm Fixed Price Award.
