- HECM 2009 Registration Form HECM 2009 Statement of Work The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) will host a Preproposal Conference / Industry Day for vendors who may be interested in submitting a proposal for the upcoming Home Equity Conversion Mortgage (HECM) solicitation. The conference will be held on March 20, 2009 at the US Department of Housing and Urban Development, Headquarters location: 451 7th Street, SW, Room B180, Washington, DC 20410, from 10:00 AM EST to 12:00 PM EST. Attendance is limited to no more than three individuals per organization. Participants interested in attending the conference must email or fax the attached registration form to the Contracting Officer by the registration closing date of March 12, 2009 at 12:00 PM EST. Please be advised, for security reasons, attendees who have not preregistered will not be admitted to the conference. Send your completed registration form to: Jennifer J. This log will be posted on the Federal Business Opportunities, (Fed Biz Opps) website as the “Interested Parties List.” The HUD, Office of the Chief Procurement Office (OCPO) anticipates publishing the Request for Proposal (RFP) during the month of March or April 2009. The contract services being sought is a Service Provider (SP) to provide a cost-effective web-based solution that can support HUD’s Home Equity Conversion Mortgage (HECM) Program, which is commonly known as the FHA reverse mortgage program. The Statement of Work (SOW) is attached to enhance industry’s understanding of the requirement and to allow interested vendors to email or fax questions to the Contracting Officer in advance of the conference. Questions will be addressed during the conference; however, the Government may not respond to all specific questions or comments submitted in response to this announcement or information provided as a result of this announcement.
