- Description
- The Naval Acquisition Career Center has a requirement for leadership training utilizing a commercial off the shelf (COTS) solution. The Navy is currently focusing energy in the sequential development of its leaders. In so doing, there is an emphasis in building awareness in better understanding individual levels of leadership ability, with the intent to improve individual and group performance. This program supports the Director, Acquisition Career Management's (DACM) effort to foster cooperation and information sharing by providing opportunities to understand and experience first-hand the issues and challenges facing leaders across the acquisition workforce (AWF) and the broader Navy arena. This program course of instruction is designed for those who are, or have the capability of leading high performing organizations and programs today, and have the potential and motivation to take on even more responsible senior leadership positions across the AWF within the ne! xt few years. The overarching project is comprised of three levels of leadership training; Level I (Introductory), Level II (Intermediate), and Level III (Executive). This initiative is to provide the Level II Training (See Statement of Objectives). Levels I and Levels III are not addressed in this SOO.
