- Description
- The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has a requirement for technical non-personal services in support of data management support services to Office Infrastructure Protection (OIP)/Infrastructure Information Collection Division (IICD). This is a pre-solicitation synopsis notice published in accordance with FAR 5.203 announcing that a solicitation will be published in the Federal Business Opportunity (FedBizOpps) not earlier than 15 days from the date of this announcement. The requirements and specifications will be specified in the solicitation. All terms and conditions will be included in the solicitation. The anticipated release date of the solicitation is within the next 45 days on FedBizOpps website. A closing date for receipt of proposals will be reflected in the solicitation. All interested parties must be registered in the Central Contract or Registration (www.ccr.gov). It is the responsibility of the interested parties to review the referenced website frequently for updates. Potential offerors will be responsible for downloading their copy of the Request for Proposals and amendments, if any. Please contact the listed person for questions regarding the solicitation. This acquisition will be conducted as a total 8a small business set-aside using FAR Part 15 procedures. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 541611. The proposed contract is 100% set-aside for current SBA certified 8(a) concern. Offers from other than eligible 8(a) concerns will not be considered. It is anticipated that the resulting contract will include firm fixed price, labor hour, and reimbursable cost line items. The period of performance is anticipated to be a 12-month base period and four (4) 12-month option periods. This notice is not a request for proposals and in no way obligates the Government to award any contract. All questions concerning this competition must be directed in writing via email to Iann.Washington@hq.dhs.gov and Amy.Borck@associates.hq.dhs.gov. No questions or inquiries will be accepted by telephone or fax. The distribution of the resulting solicitation will be accomplished solely through the FedBizOpps website http://www.fbo.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation documents will not be available. Therefore, no written, telephone or facsimile requests for the documents will be accepted. The FedBizOpps site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation and any amendments, will be distributed solely through FedBizOpps website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring FedBizOpps website to assure they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. Note 26: Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government’s requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice.
