- Part List The U.S. Coast Guard, Maintenance & Logistics Command Atlantic, Norfolk, VA intends to issue a sole source purchase order with Fairbanks Morse Engine for the following items: (See attached part listing) to include Overnight Shipping (Shipping requirements: Ship one full kit to: CGC SENECA, c/o CG Integrated Support Center BOSTON 423, 427 Commercial Street Boston, MA 02109-1094 (labeled Support of Center Section MDE Overhaul); Ship one full kit to: CGC SENECA, c/o Integrated Support Center Portsmouth, 4000 Coast Guard Boulevard, Portsmouth, VA 23703. Fairbanks Morse Engine is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and sole source supplier. Award will be made in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This purchase order will be awarded using simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, all responses received within 5 days after the date of publication of this notice will be considered by the Government. Contractor shall be OEM or an authorized dealer for Fairbanks Morse Engine. Authorized dealers shall submit documentation/certification as an authorized agent for the OEM as part of their response package. Past performance information shall be submitted with response. Consideration for award will be based on the following: Past Performance, Technical and Price with Past Performance being more significantly important than price. A determination by the Government not to compete as a result of responses received is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
