- This project is a request for quotations to provide urban forestry services for Job Corps Centers. The contractor shall provide any and all labor, services, permits, licenses necessary to perform the training and placement of students involved in the Urban Forestry Trade at the Ouachita Job Corps Center, Royal, AR; and/or the Pine Knot Job Corps Center, Pine Knot, KY. Project includes training Job Corps students in the profession of Certified Tree Worker & Climber Specialist. One award will be executed for each center. Contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration Database located at http://www.ccr.gov and must complete electronic representations and certifications on the ORCA database located at http://orca.bpn.gov to be considered responsive. Personnel performing the work must be certified, licensed or accredited in the State where the services are provided, or accredited by a professional trade organization. The performance period is 365 calendar days, July 1, 2009 through June 30, 2010, for the base period with 4 option year periods. The NAICS code is 611519. The small business size standard is $7 million. The estimated price range per center for the base year is between $100,000 and $250,000. Paper copies of the solicitation will not be issued and telephone requests or fax requests for the solicitation will not be accepted. All responsible sources may submit a quote which will be considered. Quotes can be submitted directly from the information provided in the solicitation package as posted. Electronic quotes are acceptable. Faxed quotes are not acceptable. All questions related to this solicitation must be submitted in writing to Susan Druschke at sdruschke@fs.fed.us. Only written questions will be addressed.
