Description
This notice is released to announce a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers District, New Orleans, requirement, for a Bucket Truck: BUCKET TRUCK REQUIREMENTS: Manufacturer/Model: Altec AM855-MH with Fully Hydraulic Material Handler (or equivalent) Year: 2006 or newer Working Height: 60 ft. minimum Platform: Single two man bucket platform (700 lb. minimum capacity) with hydraulic platform rotator. Engine Start/Stop at platform: Required Mount: Over Rear Axle Stabilizer Main: A-Frame Outrigger Stabilizer Aux: A-Frame Outrigger Service Requirements: Service by a factory authorized service center prior to delivery. Certification Requirements: Written certification that equipment is in 100% working order. Testing Requirements: Dielectric test performed and passed prior to delivery CHASSIS REQUIREMENTS: Manufacturer/Model: International 4300 4X2 (or equivalent) Year: 2006 or newer Engine: Diesel Transmission: Automatic Mileage: 40,000 miles or less GVWR: 33,000 lbs. Brakes: Air Body Type: Service Body Air conditioned: Yes Cruse control: Yes Service Requirements: Service by a factory authorized service center prior to delivery. Certification Requirements: Written certification that vehicle is in 100% working order. Testing Requirements: (1) Dielectric test and (2) DOT test both performed and passed prior to delivery Warranty: 12 month / 12,000 mile warranty on the Engine, Transmission, and Rear End. ADDITIONAL EQUIPMENT/MATERIALS REQUIRED Operators Manual for Bucket Truck and associated equipment Operators Manual for Vehicle Two (2) Wheel Chocks Two (2) sets Safety Harness and Lanyards One (1) Fire Extinguisher One (1) Reflector Kit All fluids in chassis and bucket truck to be topped off prior to delivery. The bucket truck is to be delivered under this contract, to Customs and Border Protection, Air and Marine Branch, 400 Judge Leon Ford Drive, Hammond, Louisiana, 70401. The Request for Quote, is for a firm-fixed price, commercial item contract, to be competed under Solicitation Number W912P8-09-T-0064. The Request For Quote solicitation release date is, 13 MARCH 2009, with a closing date for the solicitation of, 24 MARCH 2009. This action is a 100% SMALL BUSINESS (SB) SET ASIDE, concern under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 423810, size standard in number of employees, one hundred (100). The RFQ and all information pertaining to this acquisition, will be posted on Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI). You can access these files from a link located on FedBizOps (www.fbo.gov).
