Description
SOLICITATION AMENDED TO REMOVE SET-ASIDE FOR CERTIFIED SMALL BUSINESS CONCERNS IN FEMA DESIGNATED COUNTIES. Provide all tools, equipment and labor for interim waterfront utilities repair at U.S. Coast Guard Station Gulfport, Mississippi. Significant work items include: 1. Sewer Systems a. Replace Boat House Pier gate valve/check valve assembly and paint. b. Replace CPB Pier gate valve/check valve assembly and paint. c. Replace Boat House Pier pipe boot connecting pier sewer to waterfront sewer d. Ops test both pier sewer stations 2. Air Systems a. Remove Boat House Pier air shed. b. Install Boat House pier supply stanchion to serve as compressor quick connect station c. Near the pier entry, modify air line as necessary to supply service to Boat House Pier. d. Procure two mobile air compressors and modify for use at quick connect stations. e. Install CPB pier supply stanchion to serve as compressor quick connect station near the recreational pier entry. Modify air line as necessary to service CPB Pier. f. Ops test both pier air compressor stations. 3. Water Systems a. Replace PVC water header on pier face between CPB and Boat House Pier. b. Replace freeze protection valves on both piers (9 valves total). c. Leak test water system The estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. This solicitation is 100 percent set-aside for Small Business concerns. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 2007 code is 238220 with a size standard of $13.0 million.
