Description
The purpose of this amendment is to clarify additional questions proposed in regards to the Scissor Lift System requirement (& those asked at the recent site visit). The following questions were proposed and the answers are provided: • The (3) bollards originally requested, will be installed by McGuire AFB Personnel. • Is the wench free spool? ~ The government requires the wench to be a free spool. The government requires a hook on the end of it. • Will the government require any barriers for protection of the equipment and skirts for the unit? We are currently checking with the Base Safety office for safety requirements. This item will be addressed in a future amendment. • Are there any more clarifications on "powered pop-up rollers/wheels"? Maybe a sketch or photo? Pop-up rollers for right angle. • Should the Cat-Walk be enclosed, and how high should it be? The government only requires side railings. A sufficient height is 48 inches. The handrails don't need to be removable. • Paint color required? ~ The paint should be the Basic Brown used at most Air Force bases. • What type of scale is required? The government requires a digital readout on the scale with accuracy up to 5 pounds. • On electrical side, is there more clarification on the power supply available, amps, voltage? Photo? The government will provide electricity at the work site. • Will a trench have to be cut for the electrical or is power already at point of the installation? The government will take care of any construction work required. Electricity will be provided by the government. • Will there be any demo work required to install new lift? The government will take care of any demo work that is required. • Front and side fork pockets are required • Front and side pallet stops are required. • The date of submission of offers has been extended to Monday 16th March 2009 at 1200 noon(est.)
