Description
Solicitation AG-82X9-S-09-0074 is for the Shadow Mountain Village Heating Conversion Project on Units 110 and 112. This project consists of providing all equipment, labor, and materials to convert the existing electric services to gas services in the two units. Work includes but is not limited to, converting the current electrical baseboard/wall heaters to a gas fired furnace with forced air ducting and floor vents; installing a gas water heater with gas hookup; installing a gas drop line for future range and dryer; installing power to furnace and water heater;constructing one thermostat for temperature control;removing existing baseboard heaters/wall heaters and stripping out wire back to panels;performing minor trim and paint over areas of disturbance; removing all trash and rubbish from site; sealing all exterior penetrations; and construct new circuits for mechanical equipment. Work also includes the construction a new 6 foot wall gel baseboard heater in each facility as located by the Government. Coordination with local Excel energy branch for the installation of outside gas meters is also necessary. Shadow Mountain Village is located at the Shadow Mountain Village Work Center. From Granby, Colorado take HWY 34 North approximately 15 Miles to the Greenridge Campground intersection. The village is located 1/10 of a mile to the north of the intersection. The project time for this project is 30 days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed. The Government estimate for this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. There will be a site visit for this project held on May 7, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. The site visit will be held at the project site. To RSVP for the site visit, contact Jason Ruybal at 970-295-6655. This solicitation will be available for free download at www.fbo.gov on or around March 25, 2009. The approximate due date for this solicitation is May 18, 2009 at 16:00 Mountain Time. This date will be confirmed on solicitation documents. All questions pertaining to this solicitation shall be submitted in writing to Christina A. Schofield at cschofield@fs.fed.us. All Offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor's Registry (CCR) to be considered responsive to this solicitation (see FAR 52.204-7). All Offerors must be registered in ORCA to be considered responsive to this solicitation (FAR 52.204-8). All Offerors must respond to criteria in Section M of the solicitation to be considered responsive to the solicitation.
