Description
General Specifications This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commerical items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 of the FAR, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This notice constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document and incorporated clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquistion Circular 2005-30. The Office of Naval Intelligence has a requirement to procure the following items with general specifications described in Attachment A: 1) Surphaser 25HSX Spherical Laser Scanner - 1 License of corresponding laser scanner point of acquisition software -1 19V AC/DC Adapter -Data I/O Cable -Mounting 5/8" Surveying Adapter -12 Months Limited Warranty (Parts and Labor) -Azimuth Drive Option and Optical System Option to be selected prior to the order placement 2)Transportation and Storage Case for Surphaser 25HSX -Large Pelican 1660 Hard Shell Shipping Container to house system, laptop, and components complete with wheels and tote handle 3)Heavy-Duty Tripod -Portable and Adjustable Tripod (Manfrotto/Bogen 3258 or similar tripod) with carrying bag 4)Support -Unlimited Telephone and E-mail support for 1-year Please note the following: The laser scanner MUST work indoors and outdoors without any problems. The scanner also must be able to capture data while scanning upside-down. The shipping container needs to be small enough to fit as onboard airplane cabin luggage and must have wheels to tote case around. Scan data collected using scanner must export into a.ptx file or other similar file type that is compatible for import into PolyWorks software. Laser scanner must not store any captured data inside the scanner hardware (e.g. any hard drives that serve to store scan data should be removed from device. This is an "all" or "none" request for offers. The FAR provision at 52.212-1 pertains as well as the FAR clauses 52.212-4 and 52.212-5, and the DFARS clause 252.211-7003. Offers will be accepted via e-mail prior to the close of business 20 March 2009.
