- The US Fish and Wildlife Service, National Conservation Training Center at Shepherdstown WV intends to sole source award to John Wiley and Sons Inc. for Internet access to the publisher and eighteen (18) journals. Subscription includes nationwide USFWS license,- unlimited usage subscription including 2009 electronic subscription to the following Journal Titles: Conservation, Conservation Biology, Conservation Letters, Ecological Management and Restoration, Ecology of Freshwater Fish, Environmental Toxicology, Global Change Biology, Global Ecology and Biogeography, Journal of the American Water Resources Assn, Journal of Animal Ecology, Journal of Applied Ecology, Journal of Avian Biology, Journal of Biogeography, Journal of Fish Biology, Journal of Fish Diseases, Molecular Ecology, Oikos and River Research and Application. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within 30 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
