Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6 of the FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation) as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. U.S. Army Dugway Proving Ground, Directorate of Contracting is contemplating the procurement of Six (6) each MSU type, skid mounted, air start units, with noise attenuated enclosures, battery starting system, on-board fuel tanks and water separators and integrated control panel. Note 1: the minimum specifications for this requirement will be located in the Armys two (2) available websites: A.S.F.I (Army Single Face to Industry), and FEDBIZOPPS (Federal Business Opportunities). Note 2: Funding for clin 0001 of this requirement is fully funded, while clin 0002 is not currently available for funding. Clin 0002 requirement is for process to point of award only. Note 3: This is a notice of intent to negotiate on a sole source basis with Rheinmetall Landsysteme GmbH, Dr.-Hell-Strasse, 24107 Kiel, Germany. Pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304 ( c ) (1) and Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1, supplies, servicecs and/or equipment are available from one responsible source and no other type of supplies, services and/or equipment will satisfy agency requirements. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Supporting evidence must be furnished to demonstrate the ability to comply with the governments requirements. The solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). Submit written offers on RFQ W911S6-09-T-0009. All firms responding must be registered with the Central Contractor Regristration (CCR). North American Industrial Classification Standard 336413 ( 1,000 employees) applies to this procurement.
