- SYNOPSIS OF PROPOSED CONTRACT ACTIONS Services nonpersonal: The contractor shall provide all personnel, supervision, and any items and services necessary to perform food attendant services. Contractor tasks include, but are not limited to: post and maintain menu boards; subsistence and material handling; food preparation, serving and replenishing; preparing vegetables and fruits for salad bars, meals and salads; short order sandwich preparation; food service; baking; bussing tables in dining areas; cashier service; sanitation; housekeeping; waste management; exterior maintenance; equipment maintenance and repair; contingency service, including cooking to ensure continued service; maintaining quality control; ordering and receiving all storeroom orders; Grab-N-Go; meals for Weapons Storage Area (WSA), and other food service-related tasks. The contract will be for a basic period of ten days (phase-in 21 Sep - 30 Sep 2009) and five twelve-month options (1 October 2009 - 30 September 2014). It is our intent to award a fixed price contract. This proposed contract is a competitive 8(a) set-aside under a small business set-aside program. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code proposed for the requirement is 722310 - Food Service Contractors. The size standard for NAICS 722310 is $20.5M. The synopsis is not to be construed as a commitment by the government for reimbursement. The single source of entry for all documentation pertaining to this solicitation will be posted on the government procurement website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov on or about 6 April 2009. NO HARD COPIES will be provided. The solicitation must be downloaded from the internet. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. All responsible sources may submit a proposal that shall be considered by this Agency. All prospective offerors interested in submitting a proposal to this solicitation must have a commercial and government entity code (CAGE CODE). All prospective offerors must also be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) (www.ccr.gov). Additional information concerning CCR registration may be obtained by calling: 1-888-227-2423. Payment for this acquisition will be made through the Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF) system. Contractors must be registered in WAWF, see Internet site http://wawf.eb.mil/ for registration.
