Description

Small Business Set-Aside Issue Date: 03/26/2009 Bid Opening: 04/27/2009, 2:00 pm local time Solicitation No. IFB AG-94TZ-S-09-0020 NAICS CODE: 212321 COYOTE AND LOCKWOOD CRUSH AND STOCKPILE. This project consists of mobilization, clearing and grubbing, drilling and blasting, and crushing and stockpiling of an aggregate surface course at each of the existing Coyote and Lockwood Pits. Each site has different gradation requirements. The contractor will be responsible to obtain additional permits as required by the Arizona Department for Environmental Quality (ADEQ) for the contractor’s methods of operation. Coyote Pit is located approximately 15 miles south of Flagstaff, Arizona. Lockwood Pit is located approximately 72 miles southeast of Flagstaff, AZ (9 miles south of the Blue Ridge Ranger Station off Hwy 87). The total amount of funds the Government has available for award is $400,000.00. Bidders shall bid a unit price for each ton. Bids will be evaluated on the total quantity of aggregate produced based on the unit price. Contract time is 90 calendar days. Work is expected to begin July 1, 2009. Bid, performance and payment bonds are required. Solicitation will be posted/issued on FedBizOpps on or about March 26, 2009.
