- Classification Code:5610 - Construction materials, BulkNAICS Code: 212321- Construction sand Solicitation Number: Q4190090355 Notice Type: Combined Synopsis/Solicitation Synopsis: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.603 Streamlined solicitation for commercial items as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-30. This action is being set aside for small business participation. BID SCHEDULE Sand and clay material for road and parking lot base1,500 cubic yards (estimated) Price per cubic yard$_______________________ The cost of shipping must be included in the price.The clay/sand mix will be suitable for road base. The material must have the properties to compact to construct a base for roads and parking lots. The Contracting Officer's Technical Representative (COTR) reserves the right to reject any subsequent delivery of product that does not meet this specification or is otherwise unsuitable for use. The supplier will be responsible for completely removing from the project site any product that is rejected by the COTR. The supplier must be able to deliver 1,500 cubic yards of fill upon request prior to march 31, 2009. The road fill must be delivered to the project site in the Tom's Cove District of Assateague Island National Seashore, near Chincoteague, Virginia. The road fill must be dumped at specific location(s) as designated by the COTR at the time of delivery. When quoting, please refer to Solicitation Q4190090550.
