- Description
- The first amendment to Special notice (February 5, 2009) for program management support services was posted March 5, 2009. This amendment is the second amendment which updates the previous notices. U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Secure Border Initiative’s (SBI) Program Management Office (PMO) has determined a single award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract will best meet current and future SBI program support requirements. An IDIQ contract allows the PMO the flexibility to meet dynamic requirements during various phases and deployments of SBInet by issuing task orders. This notice is not an RFP and is intended to provide advance planning information until the solicitation is formally released. The RFP release is still estimated to be on or about March 16, 2009. It is incumbent upon industry to monitor the FEDBIZOPS (FBO) web site at http://www.fedbizopps.gov for the solicitation release and all subsequent amendments. To properly address our industry partners’ questions, only written inquiries regarding this notice and planned solicitation will be accepted. Questions may be submitted to: SBI-PMOSupport@dhs.gov. Additional information about this procurement will be issued through the FBO site including information about the planned pre-proposal conference.
