- The synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is a single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access the information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, l7632 Dahlgren Road, Dahlgren, Virginia 22448-5100 plans to procure on a sole-source basis, software products and maintenance from Ada Core Technologies, Inc., 104 5th Avenue, New York, NY 10011, the following: P/N T5:Ada/VXPPCWIN Gnat Pro Cross Environment to Develop Ada Software (including Ada 2005) for PowerPC VxWorks 5.x (hosted on Windows) - 1 each; and P/N T5:Ada/X86WIN Gnat Pro Native Environment to Develop Ada Software (including Ada 2005) for X86 Windows - l ! each. These items shall include Gnat Pro toolsuite and libraries, updates and new releases during the subscription period, a GNAT Tracker account, Toolset support from Ada experts and on-line consulting for Ada software Development for 12 months. Ada Core is the developer, designer and sole manufacturer of the software, making them the proprietary OEM with their exclusive knowledge and expertise on the required software.The software will be utilized for critical Navy Programs in existence. The maintenance is required to keep the software up and running efficiently in support of these critical programs. Method of award shall be Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
