- This fully designed project involves construction for McChord AFB at the training assault strip located at the Grant County Airport in Moses Lake, WA. McChord AFB leases Taxiway F for use as a training assault strip for C-17 aircraft. The project is comprised of two individual subprojects. The first project involves pavement repairs and replacement to the PCC and AC pavements along the Assault Landing Zone (ALZ). The second project is the construction to install assault landing zone lighting and associated radio frequency type controls of the lighting which can be used by the pilots. Project is 100% set a-side for small business. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 237310 with a size standard of $33.5 million. For the purposes of this procurement, a firm is a small business if its annual average gross revenue, taken for the last 3 fiscal years, does not exceed $33.5 million. To be eligible for contract award a firm must be registered in the DoD Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database.
