Description
The Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division, Panama City, Florida intends to issue a sole source firm fixed price contract to Airborne Systems Inc of 5800 Magnolia Ave, Pennsauken, NJ 08109 for procurement of the following items: 50 each MC-5 Parachute Systems P/N 810200-0, 7 each Mask w/commo, Metallic, Short P/N 116342, 8 each Mask w/commo, Metallic, Regular P/N 116345, 8 each Mask w/commo, Metallic, Long P/N 116348, 7 each Mask w/commo, Metallic, Ex-Long P/N 116351, 10 each MC5 Parachute Systems P/N 117475, 5 each 2 inch rubber band P/N 11-1-4095-2 117042, 5 each Ripcord, Main, 2-Pin P/N 811507-0, 2 each Pilot Chute, Main, CG P/N 117023, 2 each Pilot Chute, RESV, CG P/N 117699, 20 each Loop, Closing, Main P/N 117538, 20 each Loop, Closing, RESV P/N 117571, 2 each Canopy, Main/Reserve P/N 117497, 2 each DBAG, Main, MC-5, CG P/N 117507, 2 each Risers, Main, MC5, CG P/N 117523, 2 each Ripcord, RESV, 2 Pin P/N 117601, 2 each Release Ripcord, MC5 P/N! 117510, 2 each Toggle EXT P/N 117613. These items are highly specialized systems that have undergone extensive testing and qualification under appropriate U.S. Marine Corp Authority. Under the qualification process, each item has been tested to perform to rigid requirements. Only those articles that have been successfully tested are qualified. The objective of this process is to verify that the items provide acceptable levels of safety and mission critical support throughout the operating range. The intent of the process is to provide maximum reasonable assurance that the mission can be completed and an accident will not occur. Only these items provided by Airborne Systems Inc. have been approved for U.S. Marine Corp use. NAICS Code 314999 applies. FSC is 1670. SBA Size Standard is ! 500 Employees. Delivery will be to the Naval Support Activity-Panama City, Receiving Office, Building 100, 101 Vernon Avenue, Panama City, FL 32407-7018. Anticipated award date will be on or about 30 April 2009 based on contractor's proposal at a fair and reasonable price.
