- Description
- The U.S. Department of Education (ED), Office of Management, Facilities and Management Services, Management Services Division oversees and manages the Department's parking facilities. ED is seeking to procure 164 parking spaces within a two (2)-block radius of Potomac Center Plaza (PCP), 550 12th S.W., Washington, DC for ED staff who work in the building. These spaces are in addition to the 12 reserved spaces that are already included in the current Occupancy Agreement (OA) #OA022900 dated 06/17/2003. The contractor shall provide a total of 176 parking spaces (includes 12 in OA) as outlined below: 1.Twelve (12) RESERVED spaces included in the current Occupancy Agreement to be located on the P-1 level. 2.Six (6) RESERVED Handicapped spaces (Extra-wide) to be located on the P-1 level. 3.One Hundred and Fifty-eight (158) Regular Parking spaces. The contractor shall provide daily management and oversight of the parking facility. The contractor shall provide parking permits to the ED Parking Coordinator a minimum of two weeks prior to the end of each quarter. These parking spaces are required for the following performance period: Base Year - April 1, 2009 - March 31, 2010 First Option Year: April 1, 2010 - March 31, 2011 Second Option Year: April 1, 2011 - March 31, 2012 Third Option Year: April 1, 2012 - March 31, 2014 Interested sources must submit detailed technical capabilities and any other information that demonstrates their ability to meet the requirements above, no later than March 16, 2009 at 4 PM, E.S.T. Any quotes must be submitted electronically to the attention of Holly.Le@ed.gov, Contract Specialist (Contract Operations Group), with a concurrent copy to Desandre. Woodard@ed.gov, Contracting Officer (Contract Operations Group).
