Description
USAREUR requires the services of professional and reputable tour promoters to provide the type of entertainment services. The purpose of this effort is to boost morale and quality of life for deployed personnel by providing entertainment from the home front. Therefore, it is a requirement of this contract that the entertainment provided be identifiable as being from the United States of America. The Contractor shall provide a series of professional entertainment tours from MWR deployment sites in Afghanistan from May 2009 through June 2009. OEF # 14 Volleyball Interactive Sports M&G10 days between 1- 31 May 09 OEF # 15 X-Game Interactive Sports M&G 10 days between 1 30 Jun 09 Tour Requirements Tour OEF # 14 Volleyball Interactive Sports M&G 10 days between 1, 31 May 09 Total Group Size of six people consisting of three males, two females, and one tour manager. Volleyball participants must have competed in a national tournament in which the team won or placed in the top two within the past three years. Tour OEF # 15 X-Game Interactive Sports M&G 10 days between 1 30 Jun 09 Total Group Size of six people consisting of three males, two females, and one tour manager. X-Game participants must be from different genres (two of the genres must be Skateboarding and BMX). X-Game participants must have competed in the X-Games within the past two years. 1 Dates subject to change. Offerors shall provide supporting documentation as proof of credentials and status as expressed in group requirements. All tours are limited to a maximum of 600 lbs of equipment and baggage.
