Description

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to negotiate and award an order under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-05-G-0008 for the procurment of effort necessary to integrate the Tomahawk Block IV All-Up-Round (AUR) missile into the DDG 1000 launch platform, specifically the MK57 Vertical Launching System (VLS). This effort continues and builds upon the previous FY08 completed efforts and is meant to be a comprehensive listing of tasks that are expected during this period of performance. NAVAIR intends to award the effort to Raytheon Company, P.O. Box 11337, Tucson, AZ 85734-1337. Raytheon is the sole designer, developer, manufacturer and integrator of the Tomahawk Block IV missile. As such, Raytheon is the only known source that possesses the unique expertise, proprietary data, manufacturing equipment and facilities to perfrom this effort in the required timeframe. Notes 22 and 26 apply.
