Description
Project consists of but is not limited to the removal of five floor-mounted air handler units, unions, plug valves, bar stock valves and gate valves, drain valves for the chiller water coil connections, and drain valves for heating water coil connections. Provide and install five air handler units, plug valves, bar stock valves and gate valves including replacing programmable process control units. TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE - NAICS 238220 - Estimate price range between $200,000 and $300,000. To be considered for award of this project the contractor must be currently registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database (website www.ccr.gov) To be placed on the mailing list, please submit a request in writing via e-mail to c.o.shepard@faa.gov or fax to (8116) 329-31237. The request must include the company name, point of contact address, phone and fax number. This notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises. The Department of Transportation 9DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, has programs to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and control by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire capital and bonding assistance for transpiration related contracts. This is applicable to any eligible prime and sub-contractor at any tier. The DOT bonding assistance program enable firms to apply for bid, payment, and performance bonds up to $1.0 million per contract. The DOT provides an 80% guaranty on bond amount to surety against losses. Loans are also available under the DOT short tem receivable financing. The maximum line of credit of $750,000.
