Description

Uniform Rentql and Laundry Service The purpose of this Statement of Work is to provide a work uniform rental and laundry service for identified employees in the Plant Division at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) campus in Gaithersburg, MD. Uniforms that are Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) compliant with respect to National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 70E arc flash level two protection are needed for identified workers on a daily basis. As part of their work assignments, these personnel may expectedly come in contact with live, electrically energized parts. “Identified workers” include all Wage Grade (WG), Working Leader (WL), and Working Supervisor (WS) positions in Plant Division’s Electric Shop, and select WG, WL, and WS positions in the Central Plant and the HVAC Shop; and Direct Digital Controls Technicians, Electrical Planner/ Estimators, Electrical Engineers, and Fire Protection/Power Monitoring Technicians in the Operations Engineering Group, Facilities Planning Engineering Construction Group, and Job Order Coordination Office.
