- Description
- 1. The Department of the Army, Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC), Directorate of Contracting (DOC), Fort Lewis, Washington intends to solicit proposals for a contractor to provide hotel rooms, event services, briefing rooms, and meals in the Fort Lewis, Washington State area. The number of hotel rooms and meals vary by day to a high of an estimated 176 rooms and an estimated 350 meals for a banquet. The hotel must be within a 20-mile radius of Main Gate, Fort Lewis. All of these services must be provided within one facility. A complete Performance Work Statement (PWS) will be included in the solicitation. The Request for Proposals (RFP) number is W911S8-09-R-0016. 2. The solicitation will result in the award of a single contract. The resulting contract will be a firm fixed-price requirements contract. The applicable NAICS code is 721110, Hotels, and the small business size standard is $7.0 Million. This procurement is Unrestricted, not set aside for small business. 3. The anticipated period of performance is June-July 2009 for a base, plus three option periods. 4. Telephonic requests for the solicitation will not be honored. When issued, the solicitation will be available via the FedBizOpps website, http://www.fbo.gov/ and the solicitation will also be posted on the Fort Lewis Directorate of Contracting website, http://www.lewis.army.mil/doc/, under Solicitations. The tentative solicitation issue date is 23 March 2009 and the anticipated closing date is 3 April 2009. Interested offerors are advised to consult the actual solicitation for final dates and times. 5. Offers from all capable and responsible sources will be considered. Firms offering a response to this notice should ensure that they are registered in the Central Contractor Registration Database http://www.ccr.gov/ and ensure that the applicable NAICS code 721110 is included in the CCR profile prior to submission of bids. 6.
