Description

Proposals are being solicited by the USDA, Forest Service from qualified HubZone firms for the Ditch Creek Bridge Replacement and Road Improvement project located on the Salmon-Challis National Forest, Lemhi County, Idaho. This project will (1) replace a decommissioned bridge, which has had its deck removed, with a new, Government-supplied 16’ wide; 20’ span timber bridge on Ditch Creek Road, No. 60089; and (2) improve sections of Hughes Creek Road, No. 60091, and Ditch Creek Road by installing culverts and placing pit-run aggregate surfacing. Work also includes constructing roadside and outlet ditches, pit development work, and asphalt paving. This requirement is being solicited as a Request for Proposals using negotiated procedures. The approximate start work date is July 13, 2009 and shall be completed no later than October 2, 2009. Proposals are due at 3:00 p.m. MST, May 1, 2009. The estimated price range is between $100,000 and $250,000. The solicitation will be available on approximately April 1, 2009 and may be downloaded from this site at that time. Vendors are required to be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) http:www.ccr.gov and shall complete the On-Line Registration and Certifications Application (ORCA) http://orca.bpn.gov. All responsible sources may submit a response to this announcement which shall be considered by this agency.
