- Description
- The Black Hills National Forest is seeking sources to purchas a specialized single track trail dozer. Any interested vendor must register or contact the Contracting Officer to help determine how this piece of equipment will be purchased. The salient characteristics for this piece of equipment are--Trail dozer for construction of 24” wide trails. The track mounted tractor must be no more that 24” in width and have at least a 30 hp, gas engine. The tractor must have steel tracks with less that 6 PSI ground pressure and produce at least 4,000 draw pull. It must be 100% radio controlled with joy stick operation and have an operator seat. It must be equipped with an excavator arm with a rock spec bucket and thumb and a six way push blade. The six way push blade must be less than 30” in width and capable of an angle and tilt movement of at least 20 degrees. Available attachments must include a rock breaker and a repositionable, rear mounted electric winch.
