Description
REPLACE AHU HEATING COIL BLDG 121 Ernie Pyle USARC Ft Totten, N.Y. 11359 STATEMENT OF WORK (SW) SW1 SCOPE: The work called for by these specifications shall consist of furnishing all equipment, labor, and materials needed to: Replace a Ceiling mounted AHU Heating Coil. This unit supplies Bldg 121 South Maintenance Garage. The contractor is responsible for the removal of all the debris generated from this replacement procedure. The work shall be performed in accordance with industry standards, federal and state codes. SW2 GENERAL: All work shall be done by labor skilled in the type of work involved. All existing work or facilities damaged by the Contractors operations shall be repaired or replaced by the Contractor at no cost to the Government. SW3 LOCATION: NY023 Ernie Pyle USARC Building 121 Ft Totten NY, 11359-1016 SW4DETAIL: AHU / BLDG 121 South Garage Area 1. Drain, disassemble, remove and replace Heating Coil Model # 39LG1101DA1031L Coil # 28lu4120ma116L Located in the ceiling mounted garage AHU Approximate coil size is 27 H X 26 L X 22 D 2.Furnish and install all specialties required to bring this AHU to operating standards. 3.Insulate all new piping. 4.Reconnect power and control wiring. 5.Start up and check operation. SW 5 SCHEDULE OF OPERATIONS: The Contractor shall submit a schedule of proposed operations to the Contracting Officer for approval. Such schedule shall be subject to change so that the Contractors work does not conflict with or otherwise disrupt normal operations of the Government. SW6 NORMAL WORKING HOURS: Normal working hours is 0800 to 1630 hours Monday through Friday excluding holidays. All work shall be performed during these hours, unless otherwise approved by the Contracting Officer. The Contractor may be required to reimburse the government for the cost of inspecting work performed outside of normal working hours. SW7 CLEAN UP: The Contractor is responsible for the clean up of all debris and discarded materials resulting from his operations at the end of each workday. Materials shall be disposed of off-Site in accordance with local, state and federal laws and regulations. In case of conflict among these laws and regulations, the most stringent law or regulation will apply. SW 8- CONTRACTORS REPRESENTATIVE: A competent foreman or superintendent with authority to act on behalf of the Contractor, must be present at the job site all times that work is going on. The name of the foreman or superintendent will be furnished in writing to the Contracting Officer. SW 9 PROJECT ACCESS: The Contractor shall be responsible to maintain access to the job site at all times under all normal seasonal weather conditions, at no additional cost to the government. SW 10 UTILITIES: Existing utility lines, electric, will be available to the Contractor for his use. Any extension of or connections to the above lines and their restoration to original condition and removal of extension and connections will be at the expense of the Contractor. The above utilities will be providing at no cost, as needed to perform this contract. All connections to existing utilities shall be coordinated with the 77th ARIM.
