Attachment IV - Reference Letter Attachment III - 508 Technical Standards Attachment II - Room Dimensions Attachment 1 - Pricing tables SSA-RFP-09-1043 Addendum SF1449 SSA-RFP-09-1043 - Standard Form 1449 This performance-based Request for Proposal has been developed by the Social Security Administration (SSA) for the purpose of upgrading and procuring two Social Security Number (SSN) card printers with the option of two additional printers. SSA is currently utilizing two IBM 6262 impact printers to produce 80,000 SSN cards per day across multiple shifts. These printers are dated technology with high maintenance cost, hard to find replacement parts, and pose an increased risk of disruption to SSA’s card production workload. With the number of printed cards expected to increase, the need to develop an alternative commercially available solution is imperative to ensure stability, security and high availability of SSA’s SSN card print technology.
