- THIS SOLICITATION IS CANCELLED IN ITS ENTIRETY. The VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System has a requirement for crucial statistical and data management support for all phases of The Center for Health Equity Research and Promotion (CHERP) at the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System, 7180 Highland Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15206. The vendor will provide technical assistance and consultation to CHERP and other VA investigators in areas related to study design, data collection, data management, and statistical analysis, develop and manage an integrated database architecture to support CHERP research, to implement a data management framework that ensures data integrity, security, and confidentiality, provide expertise in the collection, integration, and use of electronic data from VA and non-VA sources, support original research in the field of biostatistics and informatics that has value to health services researchers throughout VA. The applicable NAICS is 923120. This will be an unrestricted solicitation i.e., open to both small and large businesses. These services are required for one base year with the option to extend for up to two more years for a total of three years. This will be a firm fixed-price contract. Quotations are being requested and the written solicitation document will be available on or about March 18, 2009. Quotations can either be e-mailed to Kathleen.Policicchio@va.gov or mailed to VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System, 7180 Highland Drive, Attn: Kathleen Policicchio (90C-H), Pittsburgh, PA 15206. Quotations will be due no later than 2:00 p.m. on April 10, 2009. All contractors seeking award must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database.
