Attachment A may be found at the SPAWAR e-commerce website at http://e-commerce.spawar.navy.mil/. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only the Attachment A sources under the authority of FAR 6.302. While this synopsis serves as notice of the Government s intent to acquire this equipment from the sources listed in Attachment A, it does not preclude the Government from acquiring equipment through other procurement strategies which may better serve the Governments needs. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, interested parties may express their interest and capability to respond to the requirements. In those situations where the Government determines that identical parts are available from more than one source, it will compete these acquisitions among the identified sources. A determination by the Government not to compete these proposed procurements based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice is due ten calendar days from the date of this publication. The SPAWARSYSCEN Charleston point of contact is Mr. Calvin Howard, Code 2.2.3CH.
