Description

RECOVERY- THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER THE MULTIPLE AWARD CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT (MACC) PROGRAM AT BOTH SHEPPARD AFB, TX AND ALTUS AFB, OK. TITLE: FOL - Fire Suppression System Tech Training Buildings 1040, 1080, 1090 DESCRIPTION: Project locations are Buildings 1040, 1080 and 1090. Work under this project includes the design and installation of a new wet sprinkler fire suppression system. Building 1040 requires installation of a new fire suppression system in the north half section only. Fire suppression systems design and installation will be for functions such as administration offices, classrooms and training hangars. The design and installation of the new fire suppression systems shall conform to the current requirements of NFPA 13, applicable codes and Sheppard AFB Civil Engineer and Fire Department requirements. Contractor shall submit design calculations and shop drawings for review and approval. Design shall be completed by a professional engineer who specializes in fire protection. Drawings shall bear the seal and signature of the same. MAGNITUDE: The magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00 NOTE: THE REASON FOR THIS AMENDMENT IS TO CHANGE THE NAME OF THIS PROJECT.
